Futures Quotes
As I mentioned earlier, our futures charts are updated throughout the trading day. But the main value of charts is that they let you see patterns that prices develop. When all you want is the price itself, you can quickly move to the Futures Quotes area of the web site. It's easy to find the particular market you're interested in. Just select the appropriate Category – Grains, Metals, Currencies, Energies, Financials, Meats, Foods/Softs, Indices, 24-Hour Markets – and then choose the specific commodity from the list in the drop down menu. Look at the sample Futures Quotes page. Depending on the kind of data you want, you can display either Intraday or End of Day prices by clicking on the links at the top of the page. Intraday prices show you the most current price information available, with the time and date of the most recent update listed at the top of the page. Daily prices list price information as of the close of the last trading day. Again, the time and date of the most recent update is displayed at the top of the page. Notice the letter icons on either side of the page. These are actually links. Use them to easily view charts (daily, weekly, or monthly) or option premiums for any contract, or to add markets to your Custom Quotes or Trade Tracker screens. You'll find these letter icons throughout the site. They make it easy to navigate the site and move back and forth between prices, charts, option quotes, etc.
